## Key Responsibilities of the Production Engineer
The Production Engineer plays a pivotal role in maintaining our high standards of manufacturing output. Your primary responsibilities will include:
* Production Planning and Maintenance: Develop comprehensive production schedules and ensure a proactive machinery maintenance program is strictly followed.
* Operational Oversight: Monitor and evaluate daily production metrics to ensure all performance targets are met.
* Efficiency Analysis: Conduct rigorous analysis regarding productivity and operational efficiency, recommending programs to drive continuous improvement.
* Standardization: Create, review, and refine Work Instructions (WI) and production process parameters to maintain consistency.
* Problem Resolution: Perform root cause analysis (RCA) on production bottlenecks or failures, implementing effective corrective and preventive actions.
* Reporting: Generate detailed performance reports, providing data-driven recommendations for ongoing process optimization.
* Compliance: Ensure every production phase strictly adheres to established Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), quality standards, and corporate safety policies.
* Cross-Functional Collaboration: Coordinate seamlessly with internal departments to support uninterrupted production flow and maintenance activities.
## Required Qualifications and Professional Skills
To be considered for this role, candidates must possess a blend of technical expertise and analytical capability:
* Education: A minimum of a Diploma (D3) or Bachelor’s degree (S1) in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field.
* Experience: A minimum of 3 years of professional experience in a production engineering capacity within a manufacturing environment.
* Technical Knowledge: Proficiency in ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 management systems is essential.
* Continuous Improvement: Demonstrated experience with Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, or other process optimization methodologies.
* Analytical Ability: Strong skills in productivity measurement, data analysis, and technical problem-solving.
* Operational Familiarity: Deep understanding of manufacturing workflows, heavy machinery, and foundational machine maintenance.
* Communication: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a team or independently.
* Digital Proficiency: High proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Microsoft Excel for data reporting and analysis.
