PT Vale Indonesia Tbk is seeking dedicated and talented professionals to join its operational team in the following capacities:
1. Mine Engineer
The Mine Engineer plays a pivotal role in designing, scheduling, and optimizing mining operations to ensure the company achieves its strategic production objectives.
* Develop comprehensive life-of-mine plans, including pit optimization, production scheduling, and digging sequences.
* Maximize economic performance (IRR and NPV) through the strategic optimization of mineral reserves.
* Utilize geological data—including block models and ore distribution—to design safe and efficient mining hills and pits.
* Manage operational and capital expenditure (Opex/Capex) budgets to ensure cost-effective project execution.
* Implement "Good Mining Practices" to maintain safety and efficiency across all engineering projects.
* Bachelor’s degree (S1) in Mining Engineering.
* At least 4 years of relevant industry experience.
* Active Pengawas Operational Pratama (POP) certification.
* Proficiency in specialized mining software (e.g., Vulcan, Surpac, Deswik, Whittle, MineMax).
* Strong verbal and written communication skills for effective stakeholder presentation.
2. Junior Geologist
The Junior Geologist is responsible for maintaining the integrity of ore quality and quantity through precise geological mapping, drilling supervision, and data validation.
* Monitor and validate the entire sampling chain, from field extraction to laboratory analysis, ensuring data reliability.
* Supervise mining activities to ensure extracted ore meets quality targets, providing direct guidance to heavy equipment operators.
* Conduct systematic audits of contractor performance and sampling procedures to drive continuous improvement.
* Prepare detailed daily reports on sampling audits and geological data for management review.
* Ensure compliance with all safety, quality, and environmental regulations during daily geological operations.
* Bachelor’s degree (S1) in Geological Engineering.
* Minimum of 2 years of experience in a related geological field.
* Pengawas Operational Pratama (POP) certification is highly preferred.
* Strong competency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
