## Role Overview: Plant Operator
We are currently seeking a highly motivated and skilled professional to join our operations team. As a Plant Operator, you will play a critical role in maintaining the safety, efficiency, and productivity of our refinery operations in South Sumatra.
Core Responsibilities
To succeed in this role, you will be expected to manage the following tasks:
* Operational Execution: Conduct refinery operations safely and in strict accordance with established procedures to meet daily production targets.
* Refinery Start-Up and Shutdown: Execute both planned start-up and shutdown sequences, as well as managing emergency shutdown procedures when necessary.
* Field Monitoring: Continuously monitor equipment performance and operating conditions in the field, document activities in log sheets, and proactively recommend equipment repairs.
* Maintenance Support: Prepare equipment for maintenance interventions to ensure minimal downtime.
* Safety Compliance: Fully implement and uphold K3L (Health, Safety, and Environment) policies while actively identifying and reporting potential workplace hazards.
* Operational Support: Carry out directives from supervisors related to daily refinery management.
## Candidate Requirements
We are looking for individuals who demonstrate technical proficiency, high ethical standards, and a passion for operational excellence.
* Educational Background: A Diploma (D3) or Bachelor’s Degree (S1) in Petroleum Engineering or Chemical Engineering.
* Professional Experience: A minimum of 1 year of experience in a role equivalent to a DCS Control Room Operator. Experience within the Oil & Gas sector is highly preferred.
* Technical Proficiency: Strong computer skills, particularly in Microsoft Office.
* Language Skills: Demonstrated proficiency in English.
* Soft Skills: You must be target-oriented, capable of working independently, and possess strong initiative.
