This role is essential for ensuring safe maritime logistics, coordinating vessel movements, and maintaining strict safety protocols during transport operations.
* Educational Background: Minimum Diploma (D3) or Bachelor’s Degree (S1) in a relevant field.
* Work Experience: At least 5 years of maritime experience, preferably within the palm oil or related industrial sectors.
* Core Competencies:
* Proven expertise in managing escort operations, anchoring procedures, and cargo loading/unloading.
* Strong working knowledge of navigation fundamentals and maritime safety regulations.
* Proficiency in operating marine communication devices, including VHF Radio, AIS, and GPS systems.
* Comprehensive understanding of tugboat escort standard operating procedures (SOP).
* Familiarity with the ISPS Code regulations and Occupational Health and Safety (K3) standards.
* Capable of generating detailed operational reports.
* Possession of an ISPS Code certification is strongly preferred.
* Soft Skills: Excellent interpersonal communication, strong collaborative teamwork abilities, and readiness to work in a rotating shift schedule.
2. Instrument Control Technician
